I have many philosophical disagreements with his father…but this is great, great fun…carry on Sen. Paul. Carry on. :)

Yeah, I do wish I could question these bureaucrats…but I will have to settle for this (great start by the way by Rand - perfect; fun). Heh…not bad….could have been better…but not bad…not bad at all.

      Like I wrote....carry on.....

The look on her face at the end of that was priceless.

Oh please, what a complete waste of time, effort and money discussing light bulbs and low flush toilets.

The whole country is a at a tipping point and he is wasting time discussing this?

Pandering to his base to make it look like he is doing something it's that simple.
Let's hope he can hit a D-1 Curve ball!

Oh please, it is about a lot more than light bulbs and toilets. Based upon what I have read, Senator Paul is well aware of that fact.

I think that had more to do with taking the opportunity before him to tell the DoE to go fly a kite. That would save a fair bit of budgetary dollars.

Speaking of which, if you get enough of them doing that in a thunderstorm, it could be a decent source of alternative energy!

Just trying to stay on topic! ;)

The other DoE could go the way of the do-do, too.

Maybe, during the next heavy rain storm in Washington D.C., we should invite employees of many different government agencies to “go fly a kite”.

Like Milton Friedman once said (and I might be a bit off): Take any three letters from the alphabet, put them in any order you want, and you will have an acronym designating a federal agency we could do without.
